A. The Lord’s day – morning and evening

1. Shema: Hear, O Israel: Yahweh our God – Yahweh is our only God and Father. And you shall love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And you shall love and serve Jesus, the Messiah, the Son of the living God. (Paraphrase: Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Matthew 16:16)

2. Praise:

Scripture – Let the heavens praise your wonders, O Yahweh, your faithfulness in the assembly of the holy ones! For who in the skies can be compared to Yahweh? Who among the heavenly beings is like Yahweh, a God greatly to be feared in the council of the holy ones, and awesome above all who are around him? O Yahweh God of hosts, who is mighty as you are, O Yahweh, with your faithfulness all around you? (Psalm 89:5-8)

3. Prayers:

The Prayer of Jesus

Our Father in heaven –

  • Hallowed be your name.
  • Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
  • Give us this day our daily bread.
  • And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven those indebted to us.
  • And do not lead us into testing, but  deliver us from the evil one. (Matthew)

Your Own Prayers

Conclusion –  Father, yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
