1. Shema: Father, you alone are God and we give ourselves fully to you. We commit to love you with all that we have, and all that we are. (Paraphrase: Deuteronomy 6:4-5)

2. Praise:

Scripture – You have a mighty arm; strong is your hand, high your right hand. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you. (Psalm 89:13-14)

3. Prayers:

The Prayer of Jesus

Father,

  • Hallowed be your name. Act in the world, O Lord; show everyone that you are alive. Make known your power and your character. May we all come to honor and glorify you.
  • Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Send forth your Word and your Spirit. Set people free, transform us, make us whole so that we can all do your will, just as Jesus has taught us.
  • Give us this day our daily bread. We ask for your care. We rely upon you, O Lord, to supply our material needs. Provide for your people throughout the world.
  • Forgive us our sins, as we also have forgiven those indebted to us. We ask for your mercy. Take away anything that blocks our relationship to you. Be close to us, O Lord.
  • Do not lead us into testing, but deliver us from the evil one. Consider our weakness. Spare us difficult situations that test our faithfulness to you. Give us your peace. (Amplified: Matthew)

Your  Own Prayers

Conclusion – Father, yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
